Warranty Terms
TEKNO products are subject to the statutory warranties provided under the Australian Consumer Law.
Cancellation Policy
Should TEKNO be unable to provide a product or service, we will inform you promptly and ensure a full refund is processed within 5-10 business days. Cancellations of custom orders require written notification. For cancellations initiated subsequent to the commencement of production or the procurement of parts, a restocking or cancellation fee will be levied, reflecting the expenses already borne by TEKNO. This fee will be clearly communicated and is consistent with the principles set forth in the Australian Consumer Law.
Returns for Defective Products
If a defect is identified in your product, we urge you to contact us immediately. For products deemed defective within the Warranty period, TEKNO will undertake to repair or replace the item, or issue a refund. Our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction is underscored by the guarantees enshrined in the Australian Consumer Law.
Returns for Change of Mind
TEKNO does not accept returns based on change of mind for custom-made or specially ordered parts, due to the considerable resources invested in their production.
Restocking and Cancellation Fees
Restocking and cancellation fees are applicable for alterations or cancellations of custom orders, covering the costs associated with labour, parts, and administration. These fees will be transparently conveyed to the customer and applied in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.
Property Rights
Ownership of products transfers to you upon receipt of complete payment of all amounts due, including any applicable restocking and cancellation fees.
Retention and Disposal of Removed Parts
Should you wish to retain parts removed from your vehicle, please communicate this request to our staff at the time of vehicle intake or upon collection. Upon receiving such a request, we will ensure the removed parts are appropriately packaged and stored for a period of 14 days. In the absence of explicit instructions to retain the removed parts, it will be presumed that you authorise TEKNO to proceed with their disposal.
In accordance with the Disposal of Uncollected Goods Act 1967 (QLD), items not retrieved within 14 days of being available for collection may be subject to disposal or other remedial actions as permitted by Queensland law. TEKNO will undertake all reasonable efforts to notify the customer of the uncollected goods; however, should the items remain unclaimed beyond this period, TEKNO reserves the right to proceed with disposal measures. This ensures efficient management of uncollected items and compliance with statutory obligations.
